Inventions of the 1940s
Replayed from a 1940s comic
Notice – this is from a 1946 comic
Here are a few new inventions of the 1940s. Some were a complete bust or at least you don’t see them today and probably never heard of some of them. This first invention, well I’ve seen ads for something very similar.
A takeoff on this invention which I know they have today that works on the same principle or related to it, is a clock that projects an image on the ceiling at night. I received such a clock one year and didn’t believe it would work. I was surprised to find it does, but you must use it at night when you go to bed otherwise the image is too dim in the daytime to be readable.
You will also see an ad for another device related to it which allows one to draw from an image projected downward unto paper.
